BRACHIOPLASTY

Tone and Define with Brachioplasty

Arm lift surgery, also known as brachioplasty, is a transformative procedure that can improve the shape and tone of your arms.

By removing excess skin and fat: Aging, heredity, or weight fluctuations can cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance due to excess skin and fat. An arm lift procedure removes this, leaving your arms looking firm and youthful. An arm lift can also contour and provide a more defined look to your arms, enhancing your overall physique and boosting your self-confidence. If your upper arms feel out of proportion with the rest of your body, an arm lift can help restore balanced body proportions, allowing you to wear sleeveless tops with renewed confidence. Exercise and weight training can build muscle tone, however, it cannot remove excess skin or weakened tissues. The only way to remove excess skin on the underarm is through a brachioplasty (arm lift surgery). Although the length and shape of the scar varies from patient to patient, all arm lift incisions are made from the armpit to the elbow- either under the arm or along the back of the arm. Results can be seen almost immediately. Swelling and bruising will dissipate over the weeks following your arm lift.

The exact details of your procedure are determined by the amount of skin to be removed. You will be able to discuss the details of this surgery and your aesthetic goals with Dr. Kim at your consultation.
